“I now have a reason to go on living,” he said, with a smile and a wave as I left him.
I had interrupted the 77-year-old, U.S. Marine Veteran from digging a tree stump out of the front yard of one of the oldest homes in Delaware.
I saw the Bennington Flag waving on his property and stopped to ask him if he still believed there was a chance for liberty.
I told him there were others that did, who are becoming increasingly organized every day through Campaign for Liberty and how we are locally working to restore our republic.
He told me local anecdotes of the region during the Revolutionary War, pointed out the route where the British marched past his current home and said,
“This is the first time someone has come by here who really understands what needs to be done. I didn’t know there were others.”
By the end of the one-hour conversation, Bill agreed to join the ranks of our growing political revolution and attend our One-Day School in Hartly, DE on February 1st.
I hope you get to meet this interesting man during the lunch break on that day.
We are the Founders of our time; coming together to shake off the inefficient, “access-based” habits of political activism that we have become accustomed to, and ready to work as neighbors to play our part in a second political revolution for our liberty.
If you’ve found yourself giving up any hope of affecting the political process…
If you’ve thought to yourself, “There’s nothing I can do as just one person”…
If you really want to change the direction of the country, but feel the political class is always going to let you down…
There is a political revolution happening in Delaware. I sincerely hope that you will join us and make it stronger.
